June 2021

See below features, improvements and bug fixes for the past month.

New Features

  • QikServe Payments (QP)
We have launched a payment gateway offering the best combination of rates and functionality

    • Settlement time is transaction date +3 (T+2) (by comparison, Stripe settles T+5)

    • Service supports Visa, Mastercard, Apple and Google Pay Action full or partial refunds from the QikServe Dashboard or the Orders Screen

  • Manual review for Oracle integrated ASAP orders
Operators wants to review check contents before they are sent to the kitchen, so they can make sure the customer has included the required information before they present the bill. The check will not go straight to the KDS or devices until manually told so now.

Improvements

  • No Payment Gateway for zero priced transactions
Previously if an order is reduced to £0, by for example a 100% promotion, the customer still needs to put in their card details. This was improved for the customer and helped to mitigate further issues as some payment providers don't accept £0 payment and so occasionally rejected the order

  • Webhook and Orders screen for customers with 3rd Party Dispatch provider
If you are integrated with Orderlord then they have the ability to make status changes to your order and can mark it as out for delivery and delivered. This change comes with a slight change and improvement to the Expo Order Screen and the flow of your order management Screenshot 2021-07-21 at 10.14.36

Bug Fixes

  • Omnivore integrations were inaccurately showing service charges split out under service charges and gratuities for the customer bill though they had not chosen to pay a gratuity

  • Exiting the payment process on Global Pay and returning to the checkout, if you had special instructions or delivery instructions in place they would have been removed

  • To Seat orders when marked as Ready to Deliver on Orders would notify the customer that the order is ready to collect

  • Due to an update in Google Chrome, Lloyds Cardnet payments would circle back around to the menu page instead of the order confirmation/rejection page after a payment was made

  • If you entered a delivery address that is within a delivery zone and proceeded through your order to where you were to sign in, you would be told that the address was too far from the store location
