See below features, improvements and bug fixes for the past month.

New Features

  • Card Validation for Open Check

    • For our Open-Check stores, the first customer who starts a new table will be asked to add their card as validation

    • This is to act as a deterrent for customers to create a food and drink order and then walk out without paying

  • Digimap Jersey integration

    • We now source addresses in Jersey directly from Jersey, providing much more accurate addresses than Google Maps and unlocking delivery potential within Jersey

    • This feature is available by default on all Jersey-based stores

Improvements

  • Event venues calendar display

    • Dates that contain events are now highlighted to the customer, and is available automatically to anyone on the new web orders UI

  • Accessibility improvements on Outlet Locations

    • An improved user experience for customers when they first land on your webordering page that is in line with our Accessibility Statement Accessibility - Qikserve

  • Adyen/Adyen Dropin payment

    • A large number of improvements have been rolled out relating to improving the webhook flow, how errors are surfaced, the flow of order statuses that get affected by 3DS, and the UX

  • iDeal payments
    • Some customer paying via iDeal were not redirected after payment to the confirmation screen because we couldn’t be sure it was the same user coming back to the platform. Now we will send an Auth along with the redirect request so that we do know and can display the correct screen
  • COMO loyalty integration

    • We have removed the Marketing Opt in box for the COMO domains on the sign-in and my account pages

  • Omnico POS

    • We now support room charges with Omnico integration

Bug Fixes

  • Saved cards on Paymentsense’s Cybersource integration were being duplicated with an incorrect expiry date

  • Nested sections with RES integration causing items to be removed from the basket

  • When an payment was turned offline on the Dashboard and then turned online again, the Google and Apple Pay settings had been reset but still showed as visible to the customer
